Lee Marshall is a dynamic Christian leader. Not only is Lee a successful television broadcaster and newsperson, but she is also a devout Christian who has an impact in her church and in the city of Huntsville. Lee also has a wonderful ministry using her musical talents as a vocalist. I met Lee during the annual I Love America celebration at Whitesburg Baptist Church. Her rendition of "God Bless America" served as a catalyst for our performances each night. During our time together, I learned of her interest in helping children in Alabama Children's Homes. She has been used by the Lord to raise thousands of dollars for children in less than positive family relationships. On August 15, 2004 Lee is leading an event called "Tribute to the Children" in which she is once again attempting to raise thousands of dollars to help children in need. It is a privilege to call Lee my friend. Pray for her as she seeks to have an impact for the cause of Christ.

I've known Lee for many years and have always admired her work in television. When she asked me to listen to her new music project and offer my honest opinion, I was a little uncomfortable. Experience has proven that many "local" artists' recordings do not have the necessary polish and production values to make it in the mainstream market.

I was totally unprepared for what I heard on "Anchored." It's really very good. So good that my station, Lite 96.9 WRSA, added "List of Things To Do" to our "heavy" music rotation for several months, unprecedented for an independent artist on our station.

Lee's expression and maturity as a vocalist and songwriter are far beyond her years. She has assembled an "A-List" of musicians and producers on this album. The songs will stir your emotions and reaffirm your faith in God.
